Review the intended result
We review the material, surface finish, artwork and mark location with you. For unfamiliar materials or finishes, discuss sample work before committing the full order.
Inspection requirements
Identify mark location, artwork revision, surface restrictions and inspection requirements before release. First-piece approval and reporting needs belong in the agreed scope.
Serial numbers and verification
For serialized work, define the sequence, exclusions and replacement rules. For machine-readable marks, specify the symbol and any required verification deliverable.
Fixturing and repeat production
Part positioning
Consider part orientation, spacing, access and handling together. A multi-position fixture supports an organized setup for processing a batch of parts.
Material and finish
Alloy, coatings and post-mark processes affect appearance and performance. A sample review can establish the approach on the actual part and finish.
Artwork and revision control
Reference the accepted artwork and part revision on replenishment orders. Flag finish, data or packaging changes before the next batch is released.
